Lymefield British Summer Food and Drink Festival
Less than 2 weeks until our British Summer Food and Drink Festival in our Glasshouse here at Lymefield.
On Saturday 23rd July from 11am, our Festival will be a celebration of British Food and Drink. Along with a showcase of our own produce and Butcher’s counter (with our locally reared meats), we have invited some of our Lymefield friends exhibit their produce on the day. There will also be a mouth-watering BBQ and refreshing drinks to tempt you!
We will have live music with Broadbottom’s own Bostock Basement Band and Maybe Frank, plenty of seating, entertainment and delightful smells, free of charge! For something a bit different, we will also have sheep shearing demonstrations.
Some new faces are coming along to display their wares, and we will also welcome many of the popular stalls from last time.
So far, I can confirm that there will be:
- Howard Town Brewery Ale on draft
- Matt the Butcher providing entertainment (watch this space)
- Cheese, obviously!
- Two Birds English Gin and Vodka Bar
- Cheshire Farm Ice Cream
- Great selection of fruit and vegetables
- Strawberries and cream
- Lyme Bay English Wine, Ciders and Liqueurs
- Homemade local range on the BBQ
- Rick, the Baker with his amazing bread (as seen on TV)
- ‘Easy As’ Curry Kits
Come and enjoy a leisurely day. The more the merrier! What more could you ask for? Yes, Jip the dog will be hanging around 😉

We hope you can make it and look forward to seeing you soon.
