Bedding Plants

Bedding plants are the perfect solution for injecting colour in to any garden. Whether you would like to spruce up your flower bed with dots of colour, giving new life to an existing potted plant, or would just like some colour to trail down over walls and from pots, these annuals (which means they are around for one season) are the perfect idea.

Starting in spring we fill our outside tables and green house with summer bedding. Pansies, Geraniums, Violas and many of the other plants which we stock will happily sit alongside your existing plants providing temporary colour right through until autumn. Once we start to reach autumn, we start to stock our range of winter bedding plants. Winter flowering Pansies, Violas, Ivy, Cyclamen and many more, all perfect for providing colour through the winter months, even here outside Manchester where the winters have been particularly harsh of late.

It is always good to try and strike a balance when planting up your bedding plants, whether they are going in to pots or in to flower beds. Choose your colourful flowers such as Begonias, Geraniums, Pansies or Violas, and then add Ivy, Lobelia or another trailing plant in order to provide foliage, greenery which contrasts with the flowers and provides a fuller look to your beds and hanging baskets.
