Fertilizer

Here at Lymefield Garden Centre Broadbottom, we aim to provide the right fertilizer for the right plant. We have always encouraged the feeding of plants as it helps to maintain a healthy appearance, encourage growth and improve flowering. We stock fertilizers in many different forms but our two most popular are the slow-release granules of Miracle Gro, of which we stock Multi-use granules and Ericaceous granules for acidity loving plants, and the Growmore granules which make a great instant fertilizer to provide tired plants with a boost. Alongside these products we also stock Fish, Blood & Bone fertilizer, ideal for encouraging root growth along with Bone Meal. Potash is a popular choice for encouraging plants to flower and our organic products such as the Poultry Manure and our Claverings Farm Manure always receive great feedback.

Liquid feeds such as Tomorite and Miracle Gro Fruit & Veg Fertilizer are stocked all-year round but certain ones such as our Organic Bedding Fertilizer are stocked seasonally. One of our most popular fertilizers here in Manchester is the Maxicrop fertilizer which is made from seaweed extract.

Lastly, we stock plenty of fertilizers for lawns, including J. Arthur Bowers Lawn Feed, Weed & Mosskiller which is a great way of keeping your turf looking green and healthy. The turf which we grow ourselves here on the border of Cheshire and Derbyshire is kept looking as green and as healthy as it is by the use of fertilizers (which we try to keep as organic as possible) and so we are always more than happy to help advise on the best way to look after your lawn turf too.
