 Until
the last few years, the range of composts available to the gardener was
limited to multipurpose composts and soil based compost. However at Lymefield
we feel that it is just as important to supply the right compost as it is
the correct plant.
We stock a large range of composts which have been specially compiled to
give an ideal growing media in various situations. The most popular and
most price conscious compost is still the multipurpose. It is a high quality
peat based compost which is suitable for growing seeds, potting on plants
and planting.
For the gardener who is concerned about the ecological consequences of using
peat in the garden we also offer a peat free planting and potting compost
which is made up of green waste and is an ideal substitute to peat. Also
there is a large range of soil based John Innes composts.
