About Us

Lymefield Garden Centre originally started as a small growing nursery down at Lymefield Farm in Broadbottom where Charles Pryce would sell home-grown plants and vegetables to the local community whilst also maintaining a working farm. In 1997, a full garden centre shop was developed and right up to the present day the Pryce family still runs the garden centre, which now includes a tea rooms with home-made cakes and hot food, and has also now developed into a trusted and reputable landscape and building supplies business here just outside of Manchester.

If you are local to the area we really do recommend coming and having a look first hand at our products, viewing our large selection of plants and trees, and maybe even stopping for a cup of tea and some cake! We are lucky enough to find ourselves sitting in a valley right on the border of Derbyshire and Cheshire, surrounded by woods and the River Etherow. We are just a short drive from Glossop in one direction, and Hyde in the other, and there are pleasant walks to be had from Charlesworth to our tea rooms.

Everything that you see on the site is handled and sent out to you by us and we pride ourselves on friendly, personal and reliable service, so if there is anything at all that you are unsure about or have questions on, please do not hesitate to get in touch and speak to one of us. Our details can be found on the contact page.
