
LYMEFIELD REWARD SCHEME TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. The Card
(a) Use of the Lymefield reward Card (hereafter referred to as “the
Card”), shall constitute your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
(b) Lymefield Garden Centre reserves the right to vary these Terms & Conditions or to
substitute or withdraw the reward Scheme by writing to customers (by letter
or email) and/or by giving notice, which will be displayed on site at Lymefield garden centre.
(c) Use of your card or any card issued under a scheme replacing this scheme
shall constitute your acceptance of the varied and/or new Terms &
Conditions.
(d) Your card is not a credit, debit or cheque guarantee card, and cannot be used
as such.
(e) The reward scheme is not available to trade customers.
2. Applying for the Card
(a) The Reward card is open only to UK residents of any age.
(b) In order to become a member of the Reward Scheme, it is necessary that you
submit a fully completed Application Form to Lymefield Garden Centre.
(c) Lymefield Garden Centre reserves the right to refuse any application or register a
card at its sole discretion.
(d) Once accepted, you will receive a Reward Card.
(e) If at any time your contact details change, it is your responsibility to advise
Lymefield Garden Centre of this so that they can update their records.
3. Earning Points
(a) You must present your card at the time of purchase to qualify for any points.
(b) The number of points you gain will depend on the activity you are purchasing.
(c) Certain products may be excluded from the scheme at the discretion of Lymefield Garden Centre.
(d) If you seek a refund in respect of any product purchased, you must present
your card so that any points issued at the point of sale can be removed from
your account.
(e) Lymefield Garden Centre reserves the right to change the rate of awarding points
and the type of qualifying purchases, upon giving notice in writing and/or as
displayed on site.
(f) You can check your points balance, upon presentation of your card, when
visiting the site.
(g) No points can be awarded when purchasing National Garden Gift Vouchers or Lymefield Garden Centre Gift Tokens.
4. Redeeming Points
(a) Your card can only be used at Lymefield Garden Centre.
(b) Points can only be redeemed as full payment for items purchased in the Garden Centre.
(c) The points menu provided at Lymefield Garden Centre outlines how many points are needed to redeem each session
(d) Lymefield Garden Centre reserves the right to revise the ‘value’ of points, how they
can be redeemed and the products included in or excluded from the reward
Scheme.
(e) Points cannot be redeemed for cash.
(f) If points have to be redeemed by a certain time the management will give
notice of this by no less than 28 days.
5. Special Promotions
(a) Lymefield Garden Centre may introduce, from time to time, special promotions
enabling the Cardholder to collect ‘bonus points’
(b) These promotions will be at the sole discretion of Lymefield Garden Centre and may
be time/availability restricted.
(c) Lymefield Garden Centre can set a limit on the number of points awarded to each
account in respect of special promotions.
(d) Additional Terms & Conditions to those contained herein may apply.
6. Issuer’s Rights
(a) The card is issued by and remains the property of Lymefield Garden Centre.
(b) Lymefield Garden Centre reserves the right to withdraw the card at any time or
refuse to renew or replace the card. Points remaining on withdrawn cards will
be lost.
(c) Reasons for withdrawal or non-replacement of cards may include (but are not
restricted to) – any abuse or attempted abuse of the Reward Scheme; any use
or attempted use of a card or points in a manner which is contrary to the
Terms & Conditions; any reasonable suspicion of dishonesty on the part of
the Cardholder, in connection with the Scheme; any reason that the
Cardholder has been barred from Lymefield Garden Centre.
(d) You must surrender the card to Lymefield Garden Centre upon request.
(e) If you have not used your card for at least 12 months, Lymefield Garden Centre
reserves the right to cancel the card, with any points balance lost.
7. Cancelling a card and/or reporting it lost or stolen
(a) Cardholders are responsible for the safekeeping of their own Cards.
(b) Lymefield Garden Centre accepts no liability for the loss of cards or points.
(c) If your card is lost or stolen, please contact Lymefield Garden Centre on 01457764686. We will place a stop on your old card and issue a new one. Any points
used prior to the stop being placed will be lost. (Please note, there will be a
charge of £5.00 for a replacement card.)
(d) You may cancel your card at any time. Please return it to us at: Lymefield Garden Centre, Broadbottom, Hyde, Cheshire, SK14 6AG
Any points balance on cancelled
cards will be lost.
8. Data Protection
(a) Personal data supplied by an applicant or a Cardholder will be held and
processed by computer or otherwise by Lymefield Garden Centre to operate the
Cardholder’s account; to confirm, update and enhance Lymefield Garden Centre
customer records; for statistical analysis; and to establish any Cardholder’s
identity.
(b) In each case, the processing may continue after the Agreement has ended.
(c) Where a Cardholder has provided an email address,
(d) Customers details will not be shared with any other party.
(e) Lymefield Garden Centre may use information about any applicant or Cardholder to
send the applicant or Cardholder information about other goods, services
and/or promotions offered by Lymefield Garden Centre, which Lymefield Garden Centre
believes may be of interest to the applicant or Cardholder.
(f) Lymefield Garden Centre may contact Cardholders using any of the contact details
provided on the Application Form.
9. General
(a) These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by English Law and you submit
to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts to settle any dispute arising
out of or in connection with them, the Loyalty Card or the Loyalty Scheme.
