Bands placed in our “Rectangle Stage”, Ferrets ran, children apple bobbed and local food and drink were consumed.
On Saturday 22nd July we held our Summer Food festival at the Garden Centre. The day kicked off at 11am with an enormous amount of food and drink available. Our Lymefield pies, cakes, pasties and BBQ goodies were all available.
Inside the Glasshouse were many of our supplies including Fruits of the Forage, Cowburn’s Artisan Bakery, Snowdonia Cheese, Acropolis Olive Oil, Aagrah Restaurants, Tameside Radio, Two Birds Spirits, Mr Fitzpatricks Vintage Cordials, Freedom Brewery, Peak Ales – The Barn Brewery, The Bollington Brewing Company, Lyme Bay Winery, Crooked Beverages & Cascade Baby Bundles.
Entertainment was supplied throughout the sunny day with bands playing ( Steven Andrew Draper, AbandcalledJack, Sam Winterbottom. Playing on our temporary “Rectangle Stage” witha great backdrop of Lymefield Terrace. To keep everyone amused we had a demo of One Man and his dog, Apple bobbing, Colouring competition and Ferret Racing !!
Our local Lymefield meat and veg was served on the BBQ as well as available in our meat packs which you can also buyonline.
The weather has glorious so the bar was in full flow all day long. Our lymefield crafted cakes and pastries were devoured by many but the star of the show was the BBQ tent with burgers, kebabs and sausages being savoured by everyone.
