Family fun day with Birds & Woods

Join us for an action-packed day this Saturday (25th Jan)!

Not only will our Tea Room and Farm Shop food be a celebration of Chinese New Year and Burns Night; it's also the RSPB Love Nature Big Garden Bird Watch Weekend

& we've invited our feathered friends from Wise Owl to join us!

From 11 – 3, come & meet Wise Owl, who'll be flying some of their beautiful birds & performing a few tricks;

we'll need you, as it'll require some audience participation!

You can get up close to the birds & meet the team who do the incredible rescue & rehabilitation work.

The Woodland Trust will be here demonstrating how you can stand up for trees & help protect, restore & create the woods & trees you love.

The nearest reserve to Lymefield are the woods you can see over the river from Lymefield (Tom Wood)!

Take part in the RSPB Love Nature #BigGardenBirdWatch and treat yourself to time with nature. Sit back, relax and for this hour at least, the only thing you need to be mindful of is you and the birds in your garden.
Step 1. Regularly feed the birds and attract them to your garden
Step 2. Watch the birds for one hour in your garden from 25 – 27 Jan
Step 3. Tell the RSPB what birds and other wildlife you saw at https://www.rspb.org.uk/get-involved/activities/birdwatch/
