The Pryce family have run a business on the banks of the River Etherow in Broadbottom for nearly 80 years and 4 generations, evolving from a small dairy farm popular with locals to create a popular Garden Centre, Tea Room, Farm Shop, Deli, and Butchers. We’re proud to say that throughout our long history, we’ve focused on doing one thing really well: providing local goods and service with a personal touch to our local community. Our Butchers source their pork and beef from local farmers in Chisworth and their mutton and lamb from our own flock!. Our Farm Shop source their beers from eight local breweries, and our Tea Room source all their meat from the Butcher’s Counter! Even the plants in our garden centre are ‘local’ in a sense – our selection are hand-picked for hardiness in the face of the worst weather that the North West can throw at us! We deliver local orders ourselves, and work with local charities to host a variety of seasonal events in our Glasshouse. If we can’t source it locally, we source it regionally, with an emphasis on artisan produce that captures the flavour and feel of where it comes from. We pride ourselves on our friendly service, and our whole team would be delighted to hear from you, whatever the need, want or problem!
On Saturday 27th April we opened the extension to the Tea Room and hope you enjoy the new layout and space. The Farm Shop extension continues to be constructed. We apologise for any inconvience but we hope that the final result will be a welcome part of Lymefield.
