It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas here at Lymefield! The Christmas trees are strapped into their sleighs for a long journey from the forests; the Lymefield Elves have put their finishing touches to the decorations; we have baked every cake & pastry; and the stage has been set for the most anticipated event of the season - the Lymefield Winter Festival.
On Saturday 24th November from 11am until 4pm, we will be hosting our aunual Winter Festival undercover in our Glasshouse (so no need to worry about the weather!).
Everyone is invited to start on their Christmas preparations. Our team will be on hand to help with personally wrapped Christmas hampers. Christmas produce order forms from the Farm shop will be avaliable - its never TOO early to get those orders in!
Nothing is more Christmassy than a brass band and again Hattersley Brass Band will be entertaining everyone from 11am followed by local musicians to keep the atmosphere rocking.
The festival showcases our own homemade produce from our own kitchen in the Tea Rooms with stalls laiden with pies, sausages rolls, gingerbread and cakes to name a few. There will be homemade winter warmer hot dishes, Lymefield Christmas pudding and mince pies all washed down with mulled wine and hot chocolates, cordials and local ales.
Along with the stalls of Christmas decorations our REAL Christmas trees will be avaliable.
Our Christmas Tree Festival also starts on this day. Local youth, schools, charities and organisations decorating their own tree to create a fantastic sight for the season - runs until the New Year.
Entertainment, seating, delightful smells and festive spirit are all free of charge!
All are invited to come and join our Lymefield Winter Festival on Saturday 24th November - start your festive season with good food, good music and good cheer!
