DELIVERY INFORMATION
Lymefield Garden Centre, Farm Shop, and Tea Room offer a variety of different delivery options tailored to the size of your product, the handling it requires, and your location. Delivery options are selectable at the checkout, and an automatic email will be generated when the order is placed, confirming the specifics of the order and providing a record of whether the order is to be fulfilled by local delivery or by courier.
Collect in Store
Collection in store is available for Garden Centre, Farm Shop, Landscaping & Winter Fuels orders. Once your order is placed, you will be contacted within 48 hours to confirm your collection date. All orders will be given to you at Lymefield maintaining social distancing rules. Please use the comment box at checkout to inform us of any other information.
Local Delivery
Delivery of Garden Centre, Landscaping & Winter Fuels orders for a minimum amount of £35. We are able to offer local delivery by a staff member operating an articulated lorry or HIab (a crane on the back of the wagon). This service will incur a delivery charge to all local postcodes – more details available at the shopping cart & checkout sections. A minimum delivery charge of £4 is applicable for these orders.
Delivery of Farm Shop orders for a minimum amount of £25. We are able to offer local delivery by a staff member using a car or van. This service will incur a minimum delivery charge of £4 to all local postcodes. Read more details on our blog about delivery of food orders.
Delivery Timing & Advice
Weekday local deliveries are completed between the hours of 9am and 6pm. All deliveries will be made once the team has contacted you to confirm your order date. This contact will be made within 48 hours of creating your order.
Please be aware that large deliveries fulfilled by Lymefield may require HGV access for large /heavy items. Please ensure that access to the road on which your property is sited has no obstructions as these can cause delays. Where the site is completely inaccessible, the delivery of goods supplied on pallets (e.g. bulk bags, paving, etc.) will not be possible.
A HiAB crane will be used to manoeuvre goods supplied on pallets, so larger goods can be delivered over walls where necessary. The driver will be able to move the pallet to a safe location by pallet truck, but will be unable to move the goods over uneven terrain (e.g. gravel or grass) or up a substantial slope.
If you have specific delivery requirements (e.g. to avoid vehicle obstruction, or should you wish to be contacted when the driver is on route), please provide instructions in the comments section when you place your order. Alternatively, you can get in touch with us about your order by phone on 01457 764686 or by email on info@lymefield.com, making sure to provide us with the details of your order (order confirmation number or delivery address) so that we can identify it.
Courier Delivery
For bulk bag orders outside of our local delivery radius, we offer delivery by courier. Details of costs are available at checkout. Courier delivery will be to the kerbside of your delivery address using a pump truck. The location of the delivery will be at the discretion of the delivery driver. In the event of problems on the day of delivery, we will try to give you a quick call to discuss alternative arrangements. Courier delivery should not be affected by the festive season or events at the garden centre.
If no-one is available to receive the delivery, our courier will attempt to leave the goods with a neighbour or in a safe space. If this is not possible due to the situation or nature of the goods, then a second delivery will be attempted the following day unless we are notified by telephone on 01457 764686 that you wish to arrange an alternative delivery date. If we are unable to deliver the goods on the second attempted delivery, the goods will be returned to the garden centre and held in safekeeping until an alternative delivery date is arranged. If you are a member of our loyalty scheme and have consented to contact by Lymefield, we may attempt to get in touch on a provided email address or telephone number. However, we cannot accept liability for a failure to successfully arrange a third delivery date. If the order contains perishable goods and contact cannot be established, then we will remove the perishable goods from your order and a refund for their cost will be issued to the account used to conduct the transaction. All other items will remain in safe keeping until you can get in touch!

Gift Vouchers
Lymefield Gift Vouchers are available to spend instore only. You can purchase these online or instore, perfect for gifts and treats in our Garden Centre or Farm Shop. When ordering online your Gift Voucher will be delivered to you via the email you used to purchase unless notified otherwise. Liability
Neither Lymefield nor our chosen courier can accept liability for non-delivery of goods or damaged goods unless the following criteria are met:
- For goods visibly damaged on delivery: The delivery sheet must be signed as damaged goods and a description of the problem must be included.
- For failure to deliver goods on the designated date: A written notice must be sent to us within 24 hours of when the delivery ordinarily would have taken place. This can be via an email addressed to info@lymefield.com
- For goods received but discovered to be damaged: Photographic proof of damage to the goods must be sent to us via email and a phone call to confirm can be made to 01457 764686.
