Our Butcher’s Counter can be found nestled in the heart of the Farm Shop and is a meat-lover’s paradise!
We source as much of our meat as possible from local farms, through a fully traceable supply chain, allowing us to prioritise the quality of the meat and support local farming communities. Our Pork and Beef come from a local farm in Chisworth, less than a mile up the road, and our Lamb comes from our own flock on Lymefield farm! All of our Burgers and Sausages are hand-made daily on site to our head butcher’s demanding specifications, with tried and tested favourites like the Cumberland Sausages or the spicy Moroccan Lamb Burgers, if you’re feeling more adventurous! Our butchers are passionate about their products (many of their Marinades are closely-guarded in-house recipes!) and are always delighted to offer advice or tailor traditional Joints and cuts to your needs. And if you’re thinking of trying something new or unusual, they’ll be happy to recommend all sorts of flavourful Slow-Cook Cuts that you’d struggle to find in the supermarkets.
