Description

Leucothoe axillaris ‘Curly Red’ is a highly desirable variety of shrub that bears foliage that curls around the upright stems in spirals almost like a helter-skelter slide!

Leucothoes are small shrubs prized in the garden as a foliage interest plant, owing to their glossy, leathery leaves and often good autumn colour. They are perfect in pots and will tolerate shade well, although they do prefer acid soil.

Ultimate size: 2m x 1.5m (approximately).
