Description
Shrub Rose ‘Othello’ is a David Austen rose, bearing huge ruffled blooms in dark crimson, with a wonderful ‘old rose’ scent.
A taller shrub rose best grown in an informal border.
Shrub roses are usually rather large roses, named for their size and growth habit. They usually tend to form open, elegantly-structured shrubs that look like giant bouquets, bearing many roses on canes that are often long and drooping, although some varieties are more compact. They are hardy and usually repeat flowerers throughout the year, and perfect for larger spaces in borders.
