Description
Shrub rose ‘Penelope’ has small multiple creamy-pink blooms with a musky smell. Loves sun or semi-shade position and tolerant of poorer soils.
Shrub roses are usually rather large roses, named for their size and growth habit. They usually tend to form open, elegantly structured shrubs that look like giant bouquets, bearing many roses on canes that are often long and drooping, although some varieties are more compact.
They are hardy and usually repeat flowerers throughout the year, and perfect for larger spaces in borders.
A taller shrub rose best grown in an informal border.
Pot size: 4 litre
