Pumpkin Patch at Lymefield

Pumpkin Patch at Lymefield

Lymefield Garden Centre is hosting its annual charity Halloween event on Saturday 21st, Sunday 22nd, Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th October.

Starting at 10am. each day, you can book your half slot to wander around in the Pumpkin Patch. Whilst you are in the pumpkin field, take lots of photos with all the specially gathered vehicles & spooky extras.  Please bring your wellies, our fields are used for grazing sheep so they can get muddy in wet weather. The field is outdoors so maybe bring an umbrella too if it’s raining.

For the little ones, we do have wheelbarrows to help them carry their special pumpkin indoors!

Come down to choose your own Pumpkin from the Pumpkin Patch.

When you have found your pumpkin, take it indoors to carve. Inside there is plenty of carving equipment & messy areas to create your pumpkin faces. The fabulous volunteers from The Bureau will be available to do the hardest part, as they will take the top of your pumpkin & scoop out the middle for you!

Raising funds for charity

We are donating money from all pumpkins sold to a very special local charity, The Bureau. This fabulous charity is helping people in Glossop & surrounding villages, with improving their well-being. It works in all sorts of areas of life, from support groups for carers to providing volunteer opportunties. Click on this link to find more….

Halloween Treats

After all this hard work, choosing & creating your pumpkins, please make use of our refreshments in the Farm Shop & Tea Room. If you would like to book a table as part of your visit, please call 01457 764686 to make your reservation. Alternatively, our Farm Shop has a great selection of freshly made sandwiches, cakes & drinks to take away.

Santa’s Grotto by Reuben’s Retreat Charity

We are delighted that Santa’s Grotto in aid of Reuben’s Retreat is back again at Lymefield with Santa Claus.

The local charity, Reuben’s Retreat, and their hard-working team of volunteers create a magical setting here at Lymefield in the Glasshouse for Santa and his elves.

Reuben’s Retreat is in the next phase of its huge project to provide support for children and their families who have life-limiting conditions or have lost a child.

Located in the heart of Glossop this fantastic charity provides ‘a place to Relax, Recharge, Remember, Rebuild, built on an army of love and compassion.’ At Lymefield Garden Centre, we are very proud to facilitate Reuben’s Retreat with their fundraising this December.

The Grotto will be here in December on 3rd, 4th, 10th, 11th, 17th & 18th December. Each day it will run from 10am until 4pm. It is £7 per child (discounts for siblings) including a gift in Santa’s Grotto.

Please book your tickets on the Reuben’s Retreat website to avoid disappointment on the day. If you would like any further information, please call Reuben’s Retreat directly on tel: 01457 680 023
