Updated 22nd July 2021
Following the Government’s guidance, we continue to offer our Tea Room customers the opportunity to sit inside & outside at our Tea Room.
The safety of our staff and customers is very important to us so we have provided these guidelines for visiting Lymefield Tea Room.
Please do not visit Lymefield if any member of your party has COVID19 symptoms or has been asked to self-isolate.
Our team at Lymefield will continue to wear face coverings and washing their hands regularly.
We politely ask everyone visiting to continue wear face-coverings if possible.
Please use hand sanitising products on entering the site.
Windows will remain open around the site to provide optimum ventilation for those that are indoors.
Entry to the Farm Shop is via the door nearest the fields, please access via the Glasshouse.
It is government regulations that all visitors, aged over 16, are required to complete Test and Trace, to be able to dine at Lymefield Tea Room. Contact details are not required to be taken from those who order a takeaway.
- All party members, aged over 16, are to provide their name and contact details or use the official NHS QR code to ‘check in’ using the NHS COVID-19 app. If requested, customers’ names and contact details provided will be given to NHS Test and Trace. The customer contact information provided will be held securely in the Office Manager’s office for 21 days, before being destroyed.
- We keep a record of all staff shifts on any given day.
Please bear in mind that there may be a wait for a table, however, we do take reservations for all our inside Tea Room tables. Our guests are shown to their table by a member of the Tea Room team. Lymefield Tea Room provides table service and our team will take your food and drinks orders.
The toilets, and the disabled access toilet with baby changing facility, will be operational and will be regularly cleaned according to our cleaning schedule. To help avoid congestion in the Farm Shop, please visit the toilets via the glasshouse.
At the end of your meal, payments are to be made at the till point. Where possible please pay via contactless and restrict to one person from your party at the till point at any one time to reduce congestion.
Exit from the Tea Room is via the Farm Shop; therefore, we ask you to wear a face-covering when exiting.
When visiting the Farm Shop or Garden Centre, please enter via their specific entrances and we ask you to wear a face-covering when in an enclosed space.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone again. We are working hard to create a pleasant and safe experience for everyone, albeit with procedures to keep everyone safe and to be able to be open. Our team has worked tremendously hard in order that Lymefield has been able to remain open in various guises throughout the pandemic. We, therefore, ask for your patience and understanding whilst our colleagues also experience each transition in order that we can continue providing the Lymefield service which will continue to evolve. Thank you for your ongoing support.
